General Cleaning Pick up all trash inside and outside of unit, including garage, place in proper containers. Clean all light switches and light fixtures. Wash all windows inside and out, including screens (be careful not to bend or damage screens), windowsills and rods must be washed. Clean all window tracks. Wash all woodwork. Oil cabinets to revive finish. Remove all shelf paper, unless glued down. Wipe out cupboards and drawers. Vacuum carpet and dust/or clean off baseboards in entire unit. Blinds must be cleaned (be sure not to bend or damage blinds). Remove cobwebs. Close all windows. Carpets must be cleaned. DO NOT use a carpet-cleaning machine that you rent yourself. Only a vendor approved by management may be used for cleaning carpets and drapes. Kitchen Defrost and clean refrigerator inside and out. Remove vegetable bins for cleaning. Move refrigerator from wall and clean sides and under refrigerator. "Be careful not to tear flooring". Leave refrigerator "off' with door ajar. Clean oven and stove including racks, knobs, stove hood, vent screen and bulb cover. Clean drip pans (replace if excessively dirty), under stove top, broiler pan and broiler drawer. Clean cupboards removing any grease build-up, clean under sink and counters, remove stains in sink and polish faucet fixtures. Sweep and mop the floor. Bathroom Clean tub, toilet, sinks, tile, tub walls and shower/tub doors including tracks. Clean and polish fixtures. Wipe and clean mirrors. Clean the exhaust fan. Sweep and mop floors, wax if needed. Make sure to remove any signs of mildew or mold from windows, walls, shower/tub area. Living Room - Bedrooms Clean closets, closet floors, remove hangers, wipe down shelves. Clean dust and dirt from tracks. Clean any ceiling fans, remove all dust and clean light fixtures. Clean all windows, sliding doors and sliding tracks. Hall - Laundry Area Replace AC filter, clean AC register. Clean laundry area if indoors and remove any excess lint from vent attachment at wall. Sweep and mop floor. Clean cupboards, wipe shelves. Do not tear flooring when removing washer/dryer. Clean washer and dryer. Outside and Surrounding Areas Remove all refuse from patio, garage, front and backyards and place in proper containers. Trashcans are to remain in garage or backyard unless full. If full, call trash company for pick-up and place can at curb. Garage Sweep 'and hose out garage interior. Remove cobwebs. Hose down driveways, walkways and patios. Exterior - Yards Remove cobwebs around entire unit. Sweep front porch. Yards - Lawns must be mowed, shrubs trimmed and flower beds free of weeds. Pet droppings must be removed.
